CERTIFIED FARO SCANNER / SCENE / ZONE 3D SOFTWARE – 2018

Confidently capture accurate measurements collisions and complex scenes with the 3D laser scanners from FARO Focus. SCENE software For processing and managing scan data with real-time on-site registration, automatic object recognition, scan registration and positioning.  Producing stunning visuals with 2D/3D diagrams, analysis, animations and videos using FARO ZONE 3D software.

 

CRASH DATA RETIEVAL (EDR) TECH / ANALYST – 2018

CDR Tool Data Analyst provides insight into the function of the automobile Event Data Recorder (EDR).  The EDR function or subcomponent, interpretation of the recorded data as well as expanded analytical skills enabling the appropriate application of a Bosch Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) Tool generated data translation report to a situationally complete crash reconstruction.

 

PEDESTRIAN / PEDICYCLE CRASH RECONSTRUCTION – 2017

Due to the extreme disparity of mass in collisions involving a bicycle or pedestrian and a motor vehicle, special investigation techniques must be employed. Reconstructionist are trained in scene investigation methodology and speed calculations designed for this unique branch of collision reconstruction.

Skills

I have nearly twenty years experience as a crash investigator. My experience is determining the cause, mapping and scale diagraming the crash scene.  I am trained in EDR technology as a technician and analyst. I am certified in crash reconstruction used to determine speeds of vehicles involved in a crash.  I provide expert court room testimony.  Additionally, I am fluent in three languages, English, Spanish and Portuguese.

CRASH RECONSTRUCTION – 2008

Experienced collision investigators master the complexities of analyzing traffic collisions and reconstruct the events.  Expanding on the fundamentals of crash investigation with special emphasis on crash reconstruction. Critical thinking skills are sharpened to enable the trained crash investigator to analyze and understand evidence found at the crash scene. Momentum, principle direction of force, Delta-V, vector analysis, and time/distance.

 

ADVANCED COLLISION INVESTIGATION – 2007

Enhanced level of understanding of collision investigation.  Formulas and skills to better evaluate and investigate accidents. Specializing in major injury and fatality collision investigations, it is also appropriate for investigating all types of collisions.

Properly documenting and evaluating an accident scene and effectively investigating and analyzing the cause. Basic drawing skills for preparing scale diagrams of the scene of a vehicle crash.
